Day 6. VA Hospital, Senior night out

The students met and sang for folks at the VA Hospital. It is the nicest nursing home I have ever seen! We had a chance to say THANK YOU in person to these men and women who served faithfully in the armed forces. The picture of Ellen is with a POW who served in WW 2! He sang a song for us " My Buddy" which tells of the loyalty between they guys who served and were captured together. There were very few dry eyes in the room. We honor them, for we know that the liberty we enjoy is because they fought for it! They were willing to give all.....
This made quite an impact on us all. May we never forget them!!
